Global Design Project #GDP415
The GDP design team creates inspirations using Stampin’ Up! craft supplies for a weekly card making challenge every Monday. The theme this week is ‘Pattern’. Stamp, cut, ink blend or use pre-printed designs to add a pattern element in your project.
All About Autumn DSP
The All About Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper brings in the best elements of autumn. The double-sided paper features detailed photographs of crisp golden leaves, weathered antique books, bright orange pumpkins, and organic earthy textures. The alternate sides show exquisite patterns interwoven with distressed copper foil. Use this paper to create stunning greeting cards or gift tags that evoke the cosiness of autumn.
Thank You Card Idea with Tile Pattern Papers
I used the pattern side of the All About Autumn DSP and decided to make a tile pattern for my card. I cut up the DSP in 1″ squares as well as a Fern 3D embossed Very Vanilla card. These were arranged on another Very Vanilla Layer with the DSP adhered using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The mat is Smoky Slate then added on Garden Green cardbase.
To add more interest I die cut the leaves from Natural Prints Dies in Old Olive card and placed them down the centre tiles. For embellishments, I added Speckled Dots then finished with the ‘Thank You’ sentiment from Go To Greetings in Lost Lagoon ink.
