New Stampin’ Up! Artisan Design Team Projects ~ Fresh As A Daisy
Hello! It’s Jay Soriano here, welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK. I am sharing my Stampin’ Up! Artisan Design Team monthly projects featuring the Fresh As A Daisy Suite Collection.
Fresh As A Daisy Suite Collection
Nothing says “happy” like a daisy! The Fresh as a Daisy Suite is filled with daisies to brighten your crafting. Stamp a flower, add a stem and leaves, and then cut it out using the coordinating dies. Add the patterned paper and gems to make your cards bloom! Also available in French and German.
I created 3 projects using the following products from the suite which are available from our Stampin’ Up! Online Shop.
Handmade Treat Holder with Fresh As A Daisy Suite
A simple treat holder in Bubble Bath cardbase, decorated with Very Vanilla layers stamped with Cheerful Daisies designs.
The stem was straightened on an acrylic block then I used a grid paper for stamping equal distance in between.
The label die cut acts as a closure and focal point for the other elements including the heart leaves coloured in Stampin’ Blends.
Memo List Wall Hanging Decor
I challenged myself to create another project other than a card and came up with this memo list. The magnetic clip comes from the Celebrate Today Magnet Board Kit and I trimmed grid papers for my list pad.
I stamped on the Boho Blue cardbase then crocheted Jute Trim before adding the card strips on top and bottom of the decor.
Once the placement of pad was decided, I decorated the front with die cut daisies coloured in Stampin’ Blends and Solid Gems.
Handmade Card with Vellum Daisies
For my final project, I wanted to capture the daisies delicate petals. I white embossed on Vellum then arranged the die cut flowers, leaves and flourishes on a layer of Vellum Basics DSP.
