Global Design Project Challenge
The GDP design team creates Stampin’ Up! inspirations for a weekly card making challenge every Monday. Use the colours below for inspiration this week and share your papercraft project. The main winner will be invited to join the design team to inspire others for next month’s colour challenge.
Simply Sparkling Bundle
Send effervescent greetings with the Simply Sparkling Stamp Set. You can use the fruit images to customise the beverage any way you like or use them separately for fun, fruit-filled greetings. The playful sentiments pair perfectly with the images for birthdays, hello greetings, and more!
Die cut your way to bubbly fun with the Simply Sparkling Dies. Cut out all the different pieces of a can to create the beverage of your choice—just add some fruit cut-outs and colour to customise the “flavour.” Finish off the look with a straw and some bubbles for a dimensional element you can use on cards, scrapbook pages, and other paper crafting projects.
Simply Sparkling Twinkling Watermelon Card Idea
Watermelon is one of my favourite fruits and recently I’ve also been enjoying the Korean drama Twinkling Watermelon. They referenced Frida Kahlo’s Viva La Vida Watermelons painting which inspired me to create watermelons with the citrus image from the Simply Sparkling set. The colours for this week’s card challenge are perfect to create watermelons with Stampin’ Blends.
I embossed the background with the Stripes 3D design and added the die cut bubbles in Pool Party card. Before adhering the layer, I stamped and added the straw design towards the right side to draw focus where the sentiment would be.
Various watermelons were adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals as well as the sentiment. Then finished with white Glitter Sequins and dots using Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker.
