Thinking Of You Card Ideas with DSP Diamond Patterns
Welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK, thanks for stopping by. It’s Jay Soriano here with Thinking of You card ideas for the Stampin’ Dreams Blog Hop. Using All About Autumn DSP Diamond Patterns and other Stampin’ Up! craft supplies.
Stampin’ Dreams Blog Hop
The Stampin’ Dreams Blog Hop is on every 2nd Thursday of the month. The design team have created projects with the theme of ‘Thoughts and Prayers’ which you can check out from the links at the end of this post.
All About Autumn DSP
The All About Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper brings in the best elements of autumn. The double-sided paper features detailed photographs of crisp golden leaves, weathered antique books, bright orange pumpkins, and organic earthy textures. The alternate sides show exquisite patterns interwoven with distressed copper foil. Use this paper to create stunning greeting cards or gift tags that evoke the cosiness of autumn.
Thinking Of You Card Idea with DSP Diamond Patterns
Create the diamond patterns using 1″ square DSP and embossed tiles. Cut 2 DSPs and 3 embossed pieces in half. I used the Very Vanilla layer as a guide, starting from the left edge and leaving a gap in between the tiles. Simply finish with the sentiment, die cut flourishes and embellishments.
Staggered DSP Diamond Patterns
A more layered Thinking of you card full of DSP and die cuts. Instead of an embossed layer, I opted for another DSP. I also added a layer of Vellum and added a mat for the diamond patterns. To add texture, I dabbed Silver Metallic Enamel Effects on the die cuts. As well as white embossing leaves on the Natural Ribbon.
