Simple Framed Florets Card with Artistic Mix

Casually Crafting Design Team
The Casually Crafting Design Team are a group of independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrators that enjoy sharing projects ideal for casual crafters. It’s a STEP UP from simple stamping, quick and easy projects for beginners. We hop every 3rd Saturday of the month with different themed inspirations.
The Card Sketch below is our inspiration this month. 3 panels on a layer card front or in my card I used the 2 background panels as embossing areas!
Framed Florets Bundle
This exclusive bundle is available now to demonstrators or from November 1st 2022 for customers. There are 7 floral and leafy stamp designs with 6 lovely sentiments to fit inside the elegant frame die cuts!
As there is no die cutting on this hop, I had to be a little creative on how to add interesting details on my card.
Simple Card Idea with Framed Florets
For the background I traced around one of the Artistic Mix Decorative Masks with the Take Your Pick stylus. The Stampin’ Pierce Mat helped underneath but do still be mindful of how much pressure you use. The mask was slightly moved to create more embossing. But to keep it even more simple, maybe just trace around more of the design.
The main topper was stamped with the floral design in Memento and sentiment in Night of Navy ink. Then simply coloured with Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers and highlighting the middle sentiment.
2 channels were created using the Paper Trimmer and Paper Snips to house the Iridescent Trim underneath. Which were held in place with Tear & Tape adhesive.
To finish the card, I covered the florets with Clear Wink of Stella then dotted around design. I also added two Polished Pink 2021-2023 In Color Jewels, enhanced with Stampin’ Blends markers.
