Card Sketch Challenge | April Casually Crafting Blog Hop
Hello, Barry here & welcome to this months Casually Crafting Blog Hop. Today I’ll be sharing with you a simple card using a Card Sketch as inspiration. I hope you enjoy the project I’ve made for you today.
So who are the Casually Crafters?
The Casually Crafting design team are a group of Independent Stampin’ Up demonstrators, that just love to stamp when ever we can.
We will be sharing our ideas on the 3rd Saturday of each month and you can hop around the group and gather loads of inspiration. So grab yourself a cup of your favourite beverage, sit back & enjoy the hop!
Be sure to check out the rest of the design teams projects by clicking links towards the end of this post.
What is the Card Sketch?
Below is the card making sketch we’ve all used as our inspiration for this month. If you’ve not used a card sketch before then a card sketch is great if you are stuck for ideas and want a simple starting point. They don’t need to be copied exactly and are totally open to interpretation. They can be really helpful if you are struggling with our crafty mojo. I’m soooo looking forward to see what everyone else has made using this card sketch
My Take on the Card Sketch
Below is the card I made as well as an alternative I made using Basic White Thick as the base (I have to admit that I did use some retired colours on that card and didn’t realise until after I had made it, oops. Sorry)
For this simple card I’ve used the 2020 – 2022 In Colours and paired it with the Daisy Lane stamp set, Daisy Punch & Medium Daisy Punch.
Will you have a go at making these cards? I hope so. If you do, please share your projects on social media and tag us using @mitosucrafts. That way we’ll be able to see easily what you done. We love seeing what you all create.
Anyway, thats it for today & thank you for hopping with me. But in the meantime be sure to check out the rest of the team projects by clicking on the links below to continue with the hop.
Thanks for stopping by & until next time, BYEEEEE!
