The Spot design team creates Stampin’ Up! inspirations for a weekly card making challenge every Tuesday. It’s a card sketch challenge this week. So use the image below to inspire your project and join in the fun.
Butterfly Brilliance Hello Card
I do like this layout and often do a card with similar composition. As well as the sketch above, I was inspired by our card for next month’s Global Creative Project PDF & Video tutorial bundle.
I decided to tone down the panel by using white on white but subtly enhanced the difference with embossing folders. The layer was embossed in Tasteful Textile whilst the panel was embossed in Meadow Moments.
The butterfly was coloured in Night of Navy and Bermuda Bay Stampin’ Blends and I added shimmer on the wings using Wink of Stella. As the Butterfly Brilliance stamp set doesn’t have any sentiments, I used the ‘hello’ from Sweet Strawberry set.
