How To Make A Thoughtful Card with Block Print

Hello, itโ€™s Jay Soriano here, welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK. I am sharing my card for the Casually Crafting blog hop using the block print technique.

Casually Crafting Design Team

The Casually Crafting Design Team are a group of independent Stampinโ€™ Up! demonstrators that enjoy sharing projects ideal for casual crafters. Itโ€™s a STEP UP from simple stamping, quick and easy projects for beginners. We hop every 3rd Saturday of the month with different themed inspirations.

This month is a colour challenge. We have to create a project with the below colour combination and I decided to use the acrylic block print technique with 2 of the colours and the 3rd colour for stamping my main image.

Acrylic Block Print

This technique is very easy and creates unique backgrounds every time. It’s customisable to fit your papercarft project with different colour combinations. Just simply add ink on Clear Block H, spritz with water and stamp on your cardstock. Voila, you have a block print background!

Ringed With Nature Stamp Set

Create charming paper crafts all year long with the Ringed with Nature Stamp Set. This enchanting stamp set includes a cottage, mushrooms, acorns, berries, and flowers perfect for making unique layered scenes for your cards. Whether youโ€™re celebrating an anniversary, Christmas, or just thinking of someone special, this stamp set is one you can use all year long. Also available in French and German.

Although this stamp set already has a ‘Thinking of You’ sentiment, I used one from Go To Greetings stamp set as I really like its style. Also, the splatter is from the Irresistible Blooms stamp set.
