How To Decorate Stampin' Up! Festive & Fun Treat Box

The Casually Crafting Design Team are a group of independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrators that enjoy sharing projects ideal for casual crafters. It’s a STEP UP from simple stamping, quick and easy projects for beginners. We hop every 3rd Saturday of the month with different themed inspirations.

The theme this month is ‘Anything But A Card’ so to keep it easy without any measuring, I made use of the Envelope Treat Boxes! They’re pre-scored with double sided tape on the tabs too. The folded box size is: 2-1/4″ x 3-1/2″ x 1″ (5.7 x 8.9 x 2.5 cm) and they’re food safe. Very ideal for table gifts, party favours or craft fairs!

Of course the plain white envelope treat boxes needs decorating! To make it pretty, I used the Festive & Fun stamp set with various Stampin’ Up! craft supplies.

Festive & Fun Treat Box

I made up the box but did not adhere the tabs on one side. Which became the top flap that can be opened. All the decorations are actually on the ‘back’ of the envelope (flat side). The belly band stays in place with all the trims, embellishments, 2″ Circle topper and the moose coloured with Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers. The main colours I used were Copper Clay, Mossy Meadow, Sweet Sorbet and couple of Natural Tones.

How To Make A Festive & Fun Treat Box

Make up one Envelope Treat Box, only adhering 1 set of tabs on the base.
Ink blend Boho Blue snowflakes from Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks with a Small Blending Brush and Boho Blue ink on Balmy Blue card strip (10″ or 25.5cm) and 2″ Circle Punched Basic White.
Stamp the moose in Memento ink on Basic White card and colour with Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers: Copper Clay, Mossy Meadow, Sweet Sorbet and Natural Tones.
Selectively stamp by adding ink on the sentiment using Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker then trim.
Fussy cut the moose with Paper Snips and punch 2 boughs in Crumb Cake card.
Wrap the Balmy Blue belly band, adhering the joint on the flat side of the envelope treat box.
Add the ink blended 2″ Circle card with Stampin’ Dimensional in the centre.
Adhere the Textural Elements by inserting them underneath with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Add White Iridescent Ribbon with Stampin’ Seal+ on the 2″ circle topper then add the Gold Trim before trimming the edges.
Adhere the moose with Stampin’ Dimensional on the centre then shape the Crumb Cake punched boughs and insert.
Loop Wild Wheat In Color Jute twice then insert and adhere using a Mini Glue Dot behind the moose.
Add the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals, Festive Pearls and Wavy Trim hoop with Mini Glue Dots to finish.
