Casually Crafting Tic Tac Toe Challenge with Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Prints
Welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK, thanks for stopping by. It’s Jay here with a card idea using Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Prints for the Casually Crafting Tic Tac Toe Challenge.
The Casually Crafting Design Team are a group of independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrators that enjoy sharing projects ideal for casual crafters. It’s a STEP UP from simple stamping, quick and easy projects for beginners. We hop every 3rd Saturday of the month with different themed inspirations. The Tic Tac Toe challenge blocks is below and I opted for the middle line: Banner, Hexagon & Happy.
Nature’s Prints Stamp Set
The Nature’s Prints stamp set includes an eccletic mix of organic and botanical imagery as well as various elegant sentiments perfect for all-occasion cards. The images are great for layering which inspired me to do for my background stamping.
It was a challenge to think of ways to create a hexagon without a die. I tried origami but it left creases on the DSP. I used a compass but became too much effort, lol! So I ended up scoring and folding a 1/4″ card strip into 7 equal lengths. You may say a hexagon only has 6 sides…the 7th is so the ends are somewhat hidden.
I used the hexagons to frame my Nature’s Prints greenery on the cardbase. As well as hold the white embossed sentiment (from Artistically Inked stamp set) and gold banner.
I hope you enjoyed my Tic Tac Toe challenge inspiration. Which blocks would you have chosen to create with?
Thanks for stopping by & until next time, BYEEEEE!
