Hello and welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK. It’s Jay Soriano here sharing a mini pocket envelope and card idea for the Stamp Review Crew blog hop using Happiness Abounds stamp set.
If you’re following the hop already, you may have arrived here from Rubber Redneck by the wonderful Holly Krautkremer. I can’t wait to see all the the crew’s projects with the Happiness Abounds stamp. So be sure to hop all the way around by clicking the ‘Next Blog’ button at the end of this blog post for more inspirations.
Happiness Abounds Stamp Set
Create elegant handmade cards and make someone’s day using the Happiness Abounds Stamp Set. The set features all-occasion sentiments to celebrate those you love with greetings in various sizes as well as line-art floral images perfect for colouring. The stamp co-ordinates and comes as a bundle with the Blossoming Happiness Dies.
It’s World Watercolour Month so I decided to do a bit of emboss resist watercoloring on my projects. The card is actually from one of our Online Class. And I also created a matching gift card holder using the Mini Pocket Envelope.
Birthday Card with Happiness Abounds Stamp
I used the trellis die to add texture for the background layer. The Soft Sea Foam Seam Binding Ribbon was stamped on for added interest. And I also used a Stylish Shapes square to contain the flower arrangement with the small flourishes from Bough Punch.

Mini Pocket Envelope with Happiness Abounds Stamp
Inspired by the card for the colour combination and watercolour topper. I stamped on the Sahara Sand base instead of die cutting. And added a Smoky Slate liner inside the holder by die cutting the back and trimming the sides.
Do you like to watercolour? I hope you’re inspired with these projects and do more colouring yourself this month. Thanks again for stopping by. Until next time, BYEEEEE!

I was hoping to see some subtle colors used with this set, so I love both the card and pocket. Stunning!

Beautiful card, Jay! I’ve seen a few coloring techniques recently that don’t require a lot of skill. We’ll see. LOL
