In Colors 2021-2023 Challenge Casually Crafting Blog Hop
Today I’m sharing with you a few simple cards using the New 2021-2023 In Colors for our May Casually Crafting Blog Hop.
Hello, Barry here & welcome to this months Casually Crafting Blog Hop. I hope you enjoy the projects I’ve made for you today with the New 2021-2023 In Colors.
So who are the Casually Crafters? We are a group of Independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrators that enjoy sharing our take on casual crafting. We’ll be sharing with you what we love with you every 3rd Saturday of each month. If you’re looking for even more inspiration be sure to check out the rest of the design teams projects by clicking links towards the end of this post.
Whats Your Favourite New 2021-2023 In Colors?
All the new In Colors are great & we love all 5 of them. But if I can only pick one it will have to be Fresh Freesia closely followed by Polished Pink. Please let us know what yours is in the comments below and see if we all like the same.
New Stamp Set
As well as using the new In Color 2021-2023 Designer Series Papers, Ink Pads & Stampin Blends I’ve also used the new Quiet Meadow Stamp Set.
I’m looking forward to playing with this set and think it’s going to be one we can get really creative with. But as you can see its also great for quick & simple cards.
How To Make It
- Card Base – 21 x 14.6cm (Score at 10.5cm on the long edge)
- DSP – 9 X 13.1cm
- Basic White – 9.6 x 5.5cm
- Basic Black Layers – 9.3 x 13.4cm & 9.9 x 5.8cm
- Sentiment – 1.2cm x Length of sentiment (Use Treasured Tags Punch)
- If you’re using the Basic Black Layer stick the DSP to the larger layer. If not, stick your DSP to your card base.
- Stamp your flowers onto the Basic White and colour with New In Color Stampin Blends Combo Packs
- Again, if you’re using the Basic Black Layers stick the stamped & coloured flower to the smaller layer.
- Stick to your card base either direct to the DSP or use Stampin Dimensionals.
- Heat emboss your sentiment and punch out using the Treasured Tags Punch.
- Adhere to your card with Stampin Dimensionals.
See how easy they are to re create and the New In Colors 2021-2023 really pop. Love them
Will you have a go at making these cards? I hope so. If you do, please share your projects on social media and tag us using @mitosucrafts. That way we’ll be able to see easily what you done. We love seeing what you all create.
