The Spot Creative Challenge

Andrea has an amazing collection of projects on her blog. I took inspiration from the card below, which was for another challenge from The Spot back in September. My main inspiration was the layout with the pacing of the embossed panel and topper.
Joy To The World Paper Pumpkin
The Joy to the World Paper Pumpkin Kit contains enough supplies to create 8 elegant Christmas cards with coordinating envelopes. It’s the perfect project kit for simple, fun and artistic festive cards! It contains a photopolymer stamp set and Just Jade Classic Stampin’ Spot which I used on my card.
I stamped ‘To You & Yours’ in Memento ink along a Whisper White panel before running through the Cut & Emboss Machine in the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder. The Reverse Stamping technique was then used for the topper in Soft Sea Foam before correctly stamping the wreath in Just Jade. The topper was fussy cut just like the ‘Merry Christmas’ sentiment in Cherry Cobbler. Adhered using Stampin’ Dimensionals, I then insert punched sprigs in Gold Foil and Whisper White. Finishing with a bow made from the Cherry Cobbler linen thread in the kit.
TIP: you can colour the normal Linen Thread with Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends to get a close match 🙂
