Sending Sunshine Stamp Set and Water Painters

It’s a colour challenge this week at Paper Craft Crew. Use the image below to inspire your card making and join in the challenge.
For my project, I opted to use Magenta Madness, Misty Moonlight, Bumblebee and Mossy Meadow. I could have used ALL of the 2020-2022 In Color Collection with Cinnamon Cider as a ‘free’ colour and Just Jade for the green. But I already had a pre-cut Mossy Meadow flourish from our livestream last week.
Sending Sunshine Scene
The NEW sending Sunshine stamp set from 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue is gorgeous and can easily be used for #simplestamping cards. I stepped up my project with the use of Water Painters and created a faux watercolour paper look with the help of the Tasteful Textile embossing folder.
The 2 Step Stamping technique is used for this set and can easily be achieved with these photopolymer stamps. I stamped in Misty Moonlight, stamping off for the larger image. Then adding a watercolour wash for the bottom half of the scene.
For the top half, I stamped the clouds in Misty Moonlight again and Magenta Madness for the colour wash. I then used the fine tip water brush to add more depth and intensify some areas.
The sentiment from the Sending Sunshine set was white embossed on Basic Black card. This was place on top of the Mossy Meadow flourish, fussy cut with Paper Snips. The Vellum under both of these elements helps to make them pop even more.
