Christmas CAS Card with Wonderful Gilded Snowflakes
Welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK, thanks for stopping by. It’s Jay Soriano here, for this month’s Creating Kindness blog hop. The theme is Clean And Simple and I have created a Christmas CAS Card using Wonderful Snowflakes with Gilded Leafing!
Creating Kindness Design Team
It’s great to have Monica Formosa back again as our special guest designer this month. She chose a fab theme as well! If you’re following the hop already, you may have arrived here from Monica’s blog. If not, do hop around to check out everyone’s projects from the links at the end of this post.
Wonderful Gilded Snowflake
I am enjoying CAS cards a lot more these days as I learn to limit the layers and elements I use. A sample of the coloured Gilded Leafing technique I am sharing with this card was actually shown on a previous YouTube livestream. I wanted to recreate the technique using a different colour as well as adding height to the die cut.
The Wonderful Snowflakes are iridescent on one side which is a great addition for another texture to the card without adding more colours. Although the backside of these snowflakes can be coloured with your ink pads as well.
