Stamping Sunday Blog Hop ~ Time of Giving As The Season Turns
Hi and welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK, thanks for stopping by. It’s Jay Soriano here with the Stamping Sunday design team blog hop. I’ve created 2 autumn projects with the theme of ‘As The Season Turns’. Using Time of Giving stamp set and Giving Gifts dies bundle.
The Stamping Sunday design team are a group of independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrators around the world. We share themed card ideas and papercraft inspirations every 2nd Sunday of the month. Time of Giving Thankful Card
A simple card design with background stamping and ink blending. The colours I used were Pale Papaya and Calypso Coral on Pale Papaya card stock. I added texture with the Timber 3D folder for the mat and Brushed Metallic Dots. Then finished with the image topper coloured in Daffodil Delight combo blends.
Gift Box with Pumpkins
I created a matching 3D project with the addition of the pumpkins die for the aperture. The size of the gift box was customised for the die. And I also added Mossy Meadow backing so the content can’t be seen.
The same stamping and ink blending techniques were used on the other 3 sides of the box. Then I stacked a die cut leaf as a decorative closure on top.
The gift box measures 2-5/8″ x 2-5/8″ x 3-1/4″ (including the decoration). The lid can be closed down fully flat but for decorative purpose it can also be displayed as shown on the photos.
