Global Design Project Challenge
The GDP design team creates Stampin’ Up! inspirations for a weekly card making challenge every Monday. Use the colour combination: Pretty Peacock, Moody Mauve and Petal Pink on your project this week.
You’re Wonderful Under The Moon Card Idea
Under The Moon is one of my favourite new stamp sets so I wanted to use it for this colour challenge. I chose Petal Pink for the main colour and added accents with Moody Mauve and Pretty Peacock for a daytime look instead.
The So Swirly design reminds me of wind or clouds flowing in the sky. To make the card layer lighter, I swiped Craft White ink once embossed then cut it into four parts.
I stamped the clouds which were lightly inked with Moody Mauve then fussy cut. The cloudy sun was punched with 2″ Circle then trimmed to follow the design. All three images were coloured with Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers to add more depth and interest.
The Pretty Peacock birds comes from the Beside Me stamp set. I then added the boat and the sentiment from Wonderful Thoughts. Finishing with three Iridescent Pearls Basic Jewels.
