Cute Sweet Peas in Watercolor Pencils Card Sketch #GDP458
Welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK, thanks for stopping by. It’s Jay Soriano here with a card idea for the Global Design Project Challenge #GDP458 using Stampin’ Up! Sweet Peas
Global Design Project Challenge
The GDP design team creates Stampin’ Up! inspirations for a weekly card making challenge every Monday. Use the card sketch image below for inspiration this week and share your papercraft project
Sweet Peas Stamp Set
Hooray to ha-pea paper crafts with the Sweet Peas Stamp Set! Use the adorable designs and coordinating sentiments to create cute projects to celebrate new babies, show appreciation, or wish happy birthday. This all-occasion stamp set is great for colouring and crafting with children, and it offers creative opportunities you’ll want to try! Choose your favourite colouring tool and technique to add colour to the cute images (the smaller ones easily fit on a die-cut shape or label for easy layering on a card front). When you pair the image and greeting, you end up with an absolute cuteness overload!
Cute Sweet Peas in Watercolor Pencils
For a quick background, I made use of the Lily Pond Lane DSP. Cut in 3 equal sizes, textures were simply added with the Basics 3D Embossing Folders.
The cute Sweet Peas image were coloured in various Watercolor Pencils from both the assortment packs by Stampin’ Up! Then carefully fussy cut using Paper Snips.
The sentiment was white embossed on Blueberry Bushel card for a Triadic Colour Wheel Combination with the green and pink.
Of course I had to finish with die cut leadings from Textured Floral set and Shy Shamrock In Color Shimmer Gems.
