Stampin’ Up! Natural Tones with Little Monkey
Hello, it’s Jay Soriano here, welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK. I am sharing projects with the cute Little Monkey stamp set coloured with the Natural Tones Stampin’ Blends for the Casually Crafting blog hop.
Casually Crafting Design Team
The Casually Crafting Design Team are a group of independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrators that enjoy sharing projects ideal for casual crafters. It’s a STEP UP from simple stamping, quick and easy projects for beginners. We hop every 3rd Saturday of the month with different themed inspirations.
Card Sketch Inspiration
The team used the card sketch above for inspiration. It’s a great starting point with not many elements but of course I had to embellish a little more.
What stamp set comes to mind when you look at the sketch? With the circular images, I immediately thought of Beautiful Balloons but decided to use the little monkey instead.
Little Monkey Bundle
This bundle has everything you need to mix cuteness and fun in all your handmade projects! Create a tropical scene with monkeys and some jungle elements. Punch out the coordinating monkey image from the stamp set, layer whatever fun elements you like for dimension, and pair with a pun-tastic sentiment. Whether you go for simple or sophisticated, you’ll surely love the fun and playful creative possibilities this bundle offers!
Thanks Little Monkey Card Idea
I wanted to use the Natural Tones Stampin’ Blends this month for the creative challenge set by Stampin’ Up! There are 5 Combos available: Deep (100, 200); Medium Deep (300, 400); Medium (500, 600); Medium Light (700, 800); Light (900, 1000). Join in by posting a project using any of the Natural Tones on Instagram and use the tag #creativechallengesu
Step It Up with Dies and Embossing Folder
Here is another card idea with 3 little monkeys coloured in Natural Tones: 100, 200 & 300. The layout for the layers was inspired by Global Design Project #GDP398 and the monkeys I arranged to reflect the Casually Crafting sketch.
This card was stepped up with the use of the Nested Essentials Dies and Fern 3D Embossing Folder. I also did a little ink blending with Tahitian Tide on the die cut layers.
