Boughs of Holy Treat Box
Measurements
- Basic White for sentiment 1″ x 3.5″ (2.5 x 9 cm)
- Merry Merlot insert for bottom of box 2″ x 3.5″ (5 x 9 cm)
- 4 of Boughs of Holly DSP to wrap Hershey Nuggets 1″ x 3″ (2.5 x 8 cm)
- Approximately 13″ (33 cm) of ribbon
12 Weeks of Christmas Ideas #42 Tutorial – How To Create a Christmas Treat Box with Boughs of Holly
- Fold up your Envelope treat box leaving top open; and glue the Merry Merlot insert to inside bottom
- Wrap your four Hershey nuggets with the strips of DSP using glue dots – place strips of Seal plus onto the Merry Merlot insert and add your nuggets. This will help them stay in place.
- Close your box and wrap ribbon around it lengthwise, and tie in a loose knot on the right end.
- Stamp “Merry & Bright” from Sweet Candy Canes set – or another sentiment of your choice in Real Red ink on the Basic White strip and ๏ฌag the right end.
- Fussy cut a poinsettia image from the Boughs of Holly DSP and adhere it to the left side of your sentiment strip. Using two dimensionals adhere this strip and image to the ribbon only on the top of the box. This will allow you to untie and remove ribbon easily; or even slide off like a belly band.
- Adhere Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels to your package as shown.
