Season of Chic Winter Card
Measurements
- Card base – Evening Evergreen 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ or 21.0 cm x 14.8 cm – scored at 4-1/4″ scored at 10.5 cm
- Layer 1 – Basic White 5-1/4″ x 4″ (x2) or 14.3 cm x 10.0 cm (x2) Layer 2 – Pool Party 1-1/4″ x 5″ or 13.0 cm x 3.0 cm
- Silver Foil 1/2″ x 4″ or 1.5 cm x 10.5 cm
- Texture Chic DSP 1-1/4″ x 4-1/2″ or 3.0 cm x 11.5 cm
- Texture Chic DSP 1/2″ x 4″ or 1.5 cm x 10.0 cm
- Basic White 2-3/8″ circle
- Evening Evergreen 2-1/2″ scalloped circle
12 Weeks of Christmas Ideas #43 Tutorial – Create a Christmas Card with Season of Chic
- Fold the Evening Evergreen cardstock in half to create card base
- Emboss one of the Basic white panels with the Wintry 3d Embossing Folder (snow๏ฌakes pattern)
- Punch one end of the Pool Party, Silver Foil and DSP strips with the Banner Pick a Punch to create banners and then layer them onto the Basic White embossed panel.
- Wrap the Pool Party sheer ribbon around the Basic White embossed panel, then tie a bow to the right.
- Adhere the Basic white palet to card base with Dimensionals.
- Take the white circle, rub it with the Embossy Buddy from the Embossing Kit, then ink the snow๏ฌake stamp with Versamark ink and stamp a few snow๏ฌakes.
- Pour white embossing powder on it, shake off any extra and then heat set.
- Use the Evening Evergreen ink pad and a Blending Brush to apply ink onto the embossed images and once reached the desired color, take a tissue and rub it onto the embossed images to take off any extra ink.
- Adhere the Evening Evergreen scalloped circle to card base with Stampin’ Seal, then adhere the embossed/colored circle with Dimensionals (as shown in picture).
- Die cut a few of the snow๏ฌakes shapes from the Chic Dies in Soft Succulent, Basic White, Pool Party and Silver Foil cardstock.
- Adhere the snow๏ฌakes to card using Mini Dimensionals and Mini Glue Dots. Note: use Mini Dimensionals to piece together the large snow๏ฌakes.
- Sprinkle a few embellishment to onto card front.
- Adhere the thin strip of DSP to the other Basic White panel, then adhere it to inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.
