Card Inspiration with Stampin’ Up! Splendid Day for a Colour Challenge
Hi and welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK. It’s Jay Soriano here with a card idea using Stampin’ Up! Splendid Day Suite coloured in Stampin’ Blends.
Splendid Day Suite
It’s easy to create handcrafted cards when you have the Splendid Day Suite Collection. This suite collection includes the basics you need: stamps, dies, paper, embellishments, and ribbon. You’ll be creating cards for weddings, celebrations, and other events in no time! Also available in French and German.
Splendid Thoughts Bundle
I demonstrated 2 card ideas on one of our recent YouTube livestream recently with the Splendid Thoughts Bundle. Some of the elements used for my card below are leftover pieces which I just had to use.
I coloured the eucalyptus leaves in Pool Party and Tahitian Tide Stampin’ Blends Markers. Which are 2 of the colours for this week’s Global Creative Project! So I added Flirty Flamingo in various forms to complete the colour challenge #GDP357
Splendid Thoughts Birthday Card
The Flirty Flamingo ink was mixed with Clear Wink of Stella then splattered on the background layer. The sentiment from Go To Greetings was stamped in the same colour. Plus, I also coloured the Pearl Basic Jewels using Dark Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends.
I added hints of metallics from the Splendid Day DSP and Rose Gold Paper with the die cut elements to add more texture and interest.
