Casually Crafting Sketch Challenge with Stampin’ Up! Brewed For You
Welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK, thanks for stopping by. It’s Barry here with a card idea using Stampin’ Up! Brewed For You stamp set for the Casually Crafting Sketch Challenge.
The Casually Crafting Design Team are a group of independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrators that enjoy sharing projects ideal for casual crafters. It’s a STEP UP from simple stamping, quick and easy projects for beginners. We hop every 3rd Saturday of the month with different themed inspirations.
The Sketch challenge inspiration we had to work with can be seen below. It’s actually a very simple layout, but open to so many possibilities. Stuck for ideas? why not give this Card Sketch a go yourself.
Brewed For You Stamp Set
The Brewed For You stamp set includes a variety of stamps and coordinating dies that allow you to keep your card making simple or take you card making to another level if you so wish.
The Brewed For You set is a perfect stamp set for all the Men in your life & if you change colours and the style you can easily turn them into card suitable for boys & girls.
I’ve used the FREE Sale-a-bration Silver & Gold 6×6 designer series paper for the top and bottoms of the card & used a blending brush and Starry Sky ink to change the colour of the paper.
The stamped beer glass was actually stamped on the reverse of the DSP and stuck to the centre using dimensionals. The centre of the beer glass was stamped using Mango Melody Ink as I felt it gave a good colour for beer.
Obviously the card needed a sentiment, so I stamped on a small piece of Basic White and cut to size & stuck to the card on Dimenionals. As you can see, everything has been Mat & Layered using Basic Black Card Stock.
This really is a very simple card with minimal materials, perfect for beginner & casual crafters.
