Hi and welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK. It’s Jay Soriano here with a new challenge inspiration for Inspire & Create With Stampin’ Up! Using Amazing Thanks Dies with Simply Elegant DSP coloured in Stampin’ Blends Markers.

Our challenge theme is ‘Word Dies’. And I decided to create a masculine thank you card using the Amazing Thanks Dies from the Mini Catalogue which is carrying over to the 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue
Amazing Thanks Dies
Saying “thank you” is easier than ever with the Amazing Thanks Dies. These simple words can be added to any image to create beautiful thank you cards and other projects. These dies are so versatile and can be easily used over and over again. Also available in French and German.
Simply Elegant Masculine Thank You Card
The inspiration for my card was a magazine cover with the font merging with the background. So I decided to use pattern paper, altering it by adding hints of colours.
As I was working with 12″ x 12″ DSP, I made a smaller cardbase and worked in imperial measurements.
Imperial Measurements
- Basic White Thick
- Cardbase: 5-1/2″ x 8″ – scored in half at 4″
- Simply Elegant DSP
- Leaves Design: 5″ x 3-1/2″
- Diamond Design: 5-1/2″ x 4″
- Silver Foil
- Thanks Mat Die Cut & Leaves: scrap
How To Make A Handmade Masculine Thank You Card
- Colour the Simply Elegant Leaves Design using Just Jade and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends.
- Die cut the ‘thanks’ centrally, saving the offcuts.
- Die cut the ‘thanks’ mat in Silver Foil.
- Use the small leaves in Grove Dies and die cut 4 times in Silver Foil and the larger leaves once.
- Adhere the Leaves Design DSP flat on the card front.
- Mat and layer the DSP and Silver Foil die cut word. Then add on the card front using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Tear a border on the Diamond Design DSP and adhere using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Finish by adding the die cut leaves, cutting some leaves if preferred as pictured.
