TGCDT: March 2022 ~ Pansy Patch Bundle by Stampin’ Up!
Hello & welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK. Thanks for stopping by for The Gentlemen Crafters Design Team March inspiration hop. Today we are sharing 2 floral card ideas with the Pansy Patch Bundle by Stampin’ Up!
The Gentlemen Crafters Design Team (#TGCDT) are a group of male crafters. Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world that love to share our creative side with you every 2nd Friday of each month. Pansy Patch Bundle
The Pansy Patch Bundle includes the Pansy Patch Stamp Set and Pansy Dies. This bundle is also available in French, German, and Dutch. It’s currently on the ‘Savings Are In Bloom’ offer with 20% saving until 31st March 2022.
Both cards below uses the Pansy Dies more than the stamp set. But the Two-Step Stampin’ images are perfect to add floral elements to your projects.
We wanted to share how you can use small DSP scraps too and added them on both cards.
Floral Thank You Card
For the 1st card, a strip of DSP (Hand Penned) was adhered on Basic White card then cut 3 times with the Tailor Made Tag Dies. These formed a layer for the topper to help it stand out from the embossed layer and white script Vellum.
The sentiment was stamped in Smoky Slate and a card strip was added behind before adhering to the card front. A Very Vanilla half bow was tied through the bottom tag and embellished with 3 Holiday Rhinestones to finish.
Floral Card with Pansy Patch Bundle
For this card, the DSP (Heart & Home) was coloured with Crumb Cake ink then cut into 1cm OR 3/8″ strips. These were then staggered on the card front to add interest on the background after stamping the flower design.
The pansies were die cut in Basic White and Smoky Slate cards. They were then coloured with Flirty Flamingo and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Combo.
As the flowers are small, it needed more layers behind to make them stand out. 2 ‘Happy’ die cuts in Kraft Card and a larger pansy in Crumb Cake card were added. Then framed with the laser cut accent from Expressions In Ink Ephemera pack.
The ‘Wishing You’ is part of a larger sentiment in the set. Trimming it this way makes this card ideal for most occasions and can be personalised when needed. The Baker’s Twine bow was added then embellished with 5 Champagne Rhinestones to finish.
