The theme this time is Heat Embossing. It is one of my favourite cardmaking technique as it’s just so magical! I love watching the powder turns shiny and smooth. You can use it on most surfaces and Stampin’ Up! offers a variety from the Basics or Metallics pack. I used 3 different powders on 3 different papers for my card with the Hello Beautiful Bundle.

Metric Measurements

  • Basic White
    • Cardbase: 14.6cm x 21cm – folded in half at 10.5cm
  • Smoky Slate
    • Layer 1: 13.6cm x 9.5cm
  • Layering Vellum Design
    • Layer 2: 13.9cm x 9.8cm
  • Polished Pink, Brushed Metallic Cardstock

Imperial Measurements

  • Basic White
    • Cardbase: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ – folded in half at 4-1/4″
  • Smoky Slate
    • Layer 1: 5-1/8″ x 3-7/8″
  • Layering Vellum Design
    • Layer 2: 5-1/4″ x 4″
  • Polished Pink, Brushed Metallic Cardstock
    • Topper: scrap

I stamped the large floral design tone on tone on the Smoky Slate card. Then white embossed the small flower before adhering on the card front. For the Layering Vellum, I used Copper Embossing Powder with the same small flower stamped randomly.

The Polished Pink and Brushed Metallic cards were die cut first. I then clear embossed one of the large brushed images from the stamp set 3 times. Followed by the white embossed sentiment on the gold foil.

I hope you enjoyed my Hello Beautiful card idea for the Heat Embossing challenge theme. Do you love heat embossing too? Do join in this fortnight! Share your creations with the Design Team on Instagram by using the hashtag #inspireandcreatewithstampinup

Thanks again for stopping by. Until next time, BYEEEEE!
