Welcome Pop Up Card with Butterflies for Tech 4 Stampers

Hi and welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK. It’s Jay Soriano here with the Tech 4 Stampers Academy blog hop. I am sharing a Welcome Pop Up Card using the fabulous Butterfly Brilliance Bundle by Stampin’ Up!

The Tech 4 Stampers Academy is ran by Louise Sims and we learn all things tech with our Stampin’ Up! websites. It’s our first ever hop hence the theme of ‘Welcome’. There are a lot of different occasions that fits this theme. It can be to welcome a new baby in the family, welcome to a new home or even welcoming new friends to our Stampin’ Up! team. Welcoming New Friends to Stampin’ Up!

This is the card that we will be sending to our new Stampin’ Up! friends who joins our Mitosu Stampurrrs team this month. Decorated with the early release Butterfly Brilliance Bundle and also Well Written Dies. If you follow us on YouTube, you may know just how much we love this new collection as we have created a lot projects already.

Step By Step Tutorial On How To Make A Welcome Card

1. Apply Rich Razzleberry ink on Rococo Rose card front using a Blender Brush.
2. Use the cross hatch die from Brilliant Wings set and stamp in Rich Razzleberry to add more texture.
3. Adhere a thin strip of Blackberry Bliss card using Multipurpose Liquid Glue then add threads with Tear & Tape.
4. Stamp the butterfly in Memento ink, colour with Calypso Coral and Petal Pink Combo Stampin’ Blends Markers.
5. Die cut the coloured butterfly with coordinating design as well as the largest detailed butterfly in Vellum.
6. Adhere both butterflies flat at the centre of the card front.
7. Create a bow with threads then add using Mini Glue Dot.
8. Die cut the welcome sentiment from Well Written Dies in Soft Sea Foam card and adhere.
9. Finish with Flowers For Every Season gems.

Surprise Welcome Pop Up Card With Butterflies

Below shows the fun surprise that welcomes the recipient as they open the card. It is currently left blank but ready to be customised. The same techniques were used to mimic the card front with the ink blending, butterfly colouring and die cut elements.
