You Are Amazing Congrats Card Front
My card for today was actually a prototype for the Triple Vertical Pop Up card we recently demonstrated on our YouTube livestream. The card front wasn’t decorated at all so I thought to use the card sketch to create a Congratulations card to keep in our stash for when we need it.
I’ve written a step by step tutorial on how to create this congrats card front below as well as included the video of our livestream for the pop up element.
Tutorial: How To Make A Congratulations Card With Butterflies
- Stamp the sparkles design from Pattern Play set in Rococo Rose ink on the Rococo Rose card front (tone on tone stamping).
- Stamp the stripe lines tone on tone on 1cm OR 3/8″ Just Jade card strips. Slant the ends then adhere flat on the card front, snipping off any excess.
- Die cut one of the Brilliant Butterfly design on Butterfly Bijou DSP (pattern paper) then emboss with Meadow Moments Embossing Folder. Adhere flat on the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
- Die cut a smaller detailed butterfly then colour with Mint Macaron and Just Jade Stampin’ Blends. Add on the top left wings to follow the card sketch.
- Create a bow with white threads (I used the trim from Playful Pets) and adhere on the DSP butterfly.
- White emboss the Congrats sentiment from You Are Amazing set on Rich Razzleberry card and add using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Finish off by adding the Flowers For Every Season Gems and Basic Rhinestones.
