Oh So Eclectic Alternative Floating Frame (2nd & 3rd Cards)

Hello, it’s Jay here and I’m back with the 2nd Oh So Eclectic card I created with the Floating Frame Technique.

I love this technique and really wanted to try it but didn’t have Press and Seal in the flat. So I tried it using a lint roller refill!  It’s cheap, easily available and most pet owners would have it already!

2nd Floating Frame Technique Card

I finished the 2nd card with the Floating Frame Technique as promised on our Facebook Live using the middle die cut. This is what I created…

I used the Whisper White backing card to die cut the frame as it was still usable after peeling it off. It’s great that there’s not much waste when doing the Floating Frame Technique card

I also stamped the sentiment (from the same stamp set, Oh So Eclectic) and die cut with the smallest Rectangle Stitched Framelits. This was shortened by running through the Big Shot twice

Additional Card

The extra card idea I am sharing was made up of the backing from the middle frame. The die cut flower was an extra that wasn’t use on the first 2 cards. It doesn’t use the Floating Frame Technique but I really like how the first 2 inspired this card and made use of leftovers

I stamped on the cardbase in Berry Burst with the flower buds stamp design (well I think its flower buds and going with it)

I used the Sponging Technique for the middle rectangle stitched using Lemon Lime Twist and Granny Apple Green

The frame was adhered with dimensionals as well as the flower so they look like they’re floating 🙂

Finished off the card with the Silver Baker’s Twine (twisted with Whisper White) and sentiment in Tranquil Tide
