Stamping Sunday ~ Autumn Wreaths Change Is In The Air
Hi and welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK. It’s Jay Soriano here with the Stamping Sunday design team blog hop. The theme this month is ‘Change is in the Air’ so of course I immediately though of Autumn. I am sharing 3 projects with Autumn Wreaths using the Natural Prints Dies, Bough Punch and other Stampin’ Up! supplies.
The Stamping Sunday design team are a group of independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrators around the world. We share themed card ideas and papercraft inspirations every 2nd Sunday of the month. The 2 cards were created on our recent livestream and inspired by the toppers I made for The Creative Craft Show in Farnborough. The organisers had a ‘Harvest’ theme and I thought these wreaths were perfect!
Autumn Wreaths Thank You Card
The wreath from Natural Prints Dies made the topper very quick and easy to construct. I added more interest with the cluster of punched boughs and small dragonfly. Then simply adhered on Very Vanilla card front which was stamped with designs from Nature’s Prints Stamp Set including the sentiment.
Hello Autumn Wreaths
I made use of the centre off cut as a base to adhere the punched boughs. The coloured card stock I used were Soft Suede, Mango Melody and Rich Razzleberry. I added a couple of ribbons in between for different textures. Then adhered on the card base with Boughs of Holly DSP layer. This topper can be made into a hanging decoration too don’t you think?
Alphabest Autumn Wand 2022
I repeated the wreath design from the first card for this Autumnal Wand. Then I reinserted and stuck the centre offcut before adding more layers to strengthen the top. The same ribbons from card 2 were cut into and adhered at the back.
For the handle, I covered a kebab stick with the Natural Finish Ribbon then wound Pumpkin Pie Washi Tape. To adhere, I just used Tear & Tape and added Stampin’ Dimensional either side to help keep it in place. I also added another layer of circle die cut card to tidy the back.
The 2022 from Alphabest Bundle was then adhere at the front then finished with Real Red Pearlised Enamel Effects Basics.
