It’s time for another Design Team inspiration card for the Paper Craft Crew challenge #PCC297 I decided to use the High Tide stamp set to fit this week’s ‘By The Sea’ theme challenge. It’s fairly simple with a bit of sponging to create atmosphere I sponged the Whisper White card with Balmy Blue and Pacific Point inks, concentrating on the edges. I then stamped the land in Crumb Cake, grass in Granny Apple Green and the sentiment was in Tuxedo Black, masking the bottom 3 lines The lighthouse requires 2 Step Stamping, as the set is photopolymer, this is achieved…

Smooshing Technique and Delicate Lace Edgelits Dies

We had our Cardmaking and Papercraft Class with our Basingstoke Craft Group this week and here is one of the class project we created using the Delicate Edgelits Dies amongst other Stampin’ Up! products We demonstrated the Smooshing Technique for the background using Pineapple Punch and Call Me Clover inks The Smooshing Technique is such an easy way to create artistic backgrounds with the help of a Window Sheet, Stampin’ Spritzer and chosen colours Whilst the Shimmer Card was drying, the Delicate Edgelit design was die cut twice on Whisper White card, top and bottom The Black Tuxedo sentiment is from Beautiful Day…

It’s time for another Paper Craft Crew challenge and we have a card sketch for you this week For my DT inspiration, I used the Climbing Orchid set, the matching Orchid Builder Framelits Dies and the new Birthday Backgrounds stamp set The orchid was stamped in Coastal Cabana, die cut then sponged with Flirty Flamingo ink. The detailed centre were stamped in 1st and 2nd generation Granny Apple Green I then worked on the stitched square element by stamping the stalk in Granny Apple Green and the buds in Coastal Cabana I stamped the confetti design from Birthday Backgrounds…
