Stampin’ Up! Notes Of Nature Card Ideas
Hello and welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK. It’s Jay Soriano here sharing card ideas with Stampin’ Up! Notes of Nature Bundle for the Stamp Review Crew blog hop.
Notes of Nature
The Notes of Nature Stamp Set has images of leaves and teeny flowers, a page from a field journal for authenticity, and images to add stamped texture. Combine images and colour them to create a verdant scene, then finish your card with a sentiment of thanks, hello, or birthday wishes.
For my card inspirations, I mixed the bundle with other items from the Nature’s Sweetness Suite Collection, including the DSP, Faux Leather Trim plus the Lovely & Sweet Bundle.
Just A Little Notes of Nature
I layered the DSPs for the background then stamped, die cut and embossed the white layer. The Faux Leather Trim was inserted through one of the hole to create a kind of tassel.
The leaves from the set was stamped in Memento four times and coloured with Stampin’ Blends: Pretty Peacock & Granny Apple Green. Once die cut, these were arranged to form a semi circle before adhering with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The sentiment was black embossed then I added more die cut leafings plus the Pecan Pie Opaque Faceted Gems to finish.
Notes of Nature Thanks Card
Can you believe most of the elements on this 2nd card came from Basic White card? Except for the Pebbled Path strip and Vellum, the rest were coloured using various techniques; stamping, ink blending and with Stampin’ Blends.
I stamped the ‘Field Notes’ and splatters then ink blended the layer for a vintage look. The strip on the left were stamped with the texture design and splatters but with a heavier ink blending for contrast. I then added the Layered Florals embossed Vellum so the elements will stand out more.
Before die cutting the flourish leafings and flowers, I coloured the white card with Stampin’ Blends: Old Olive, Soft Sea Foam, Copper Clay and Ivory. The label die cut was ink blended with Pretty Peacock.
The vanilla flower comes from Lovely & Sweet Bundle. Then finished with Linen Thread and Opaque Faceted Gems from Sale-A-Bration.
I hope you’re inspired with these projects and create with this bundle soon. Thanks again for stopping by. Until next time, BYEEEEE!
