Stampin’ Up! Awesome Waves of Inspiration Stamp Review Crew
Hello and welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK. It’s Jay Soriano here sharing an awesome card idea for the Stamp Review Crew blog hop with Waves of Inspiration stamp set.
It’s a short Bonus Hop this week, but I’m sure the crew has got some wonderful inspirations for you. So be sure to follow along the hop from the link at the end of this post.
Waves of Inspiration Stamp Set
Making inspiring cards is easy with the Waves of Inspiration Stamp Set. It includes versatile phrases you can use for birthdays, friendship, or just as a kind pick-me-up. And you’ll love the coordinating images: a realistic pelican on a post, a flying bird, and a detailed wave. Combine these images with one of the thoughtful greetings to create cards people will cherish. Also available in French and German.
For my card today, I decided to update the stamp set and mix it with the Hippest Hippo from Sale-A-Bration (which is only available until 31 August 2022).
Hippest Hippo & Waves of Inspiration
The waves was stamped in Starry Sky and I ink blended Tahitian Tide on the background using a handmade clouds mask. The Hippest Hippo was coloured in Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers and die cut with the co-ordinating Hippo dies (another Sale-A-Bration product). I snipped into the boat die cut and tried to create a body board so it looks like the hippo is riding the wave!

Do you mind if I CASe the hippo on the wave? My layout would be different for a sketch challenge. I’ll post your card and link to it on my blog post for it. Would that be ok?

My site 71N covers a lot of topics about Thai-Massage and I thought we could greatly benefit from each other. Awesome posts by the way!
