Wonderful Handmade Cards with Forever Fern Stamp
Hello and welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK. It’s Jay Soriano here sharing Forever Fern card ideas and a tag with Kraft Paper and Embossing paste for the Stamp Review Crew blog hop.
I’m so happy to be hopping with the Stamp Review Crew again this month. The crew always showcase stamp sets in creative ways and you’re definitely in for a treat! I’ve used this set quite a bit already as it’s an older one so I coloured it in Stampin’ Blends on Kraft Paper Pack for a different look.
Colouring Forever Fern On Kraft Card
My first card is fairly simple with repeat stamping in Granny Apple Green ink on Kraft Paper. The Stampin’ Blends I used to colour the fern were Shaded Spruce and Evening Evergreen.
Forever Fern with Embossing Paste Tag
For my tag, I stamped another fern design in a semi circle then coloured in the same Stampin’ Blends as above. I added Bronze to outline some edges for the shadows and fussy cut around the leaves.
The Shimmery Embossing Paste, I added on both the Kraft Paper and Early Espresso base. And I used one of the stencils from the Adorning Designs Decorative Masks.
Then finished wine Fine Art Ribbon, Linen Thread and white embossed sentiment.
Christmas Card Idea with Forever Fern
This final card was created during one of our livestream recently which kind of inspired the first 2 projects. It has the same shimmery embossing paste design from the tag and fussy cut sentiment from the 1st card.
The ferns were stamped in different coloured inks instead and I used another sentiment from Perfectly Plaid for an alternative Christmas card. Check the video below for the replay plus another Christmas card idea with the set.
