The Spot Card Making Challenge #164 Inspiration from Mitosu Crafts UK by Barry & Jay Soriano Stampin' Up! Demo

Masculine Card with Chocolates

I took the neutral colours from the images to create my card on Very Vanilla base. To give a fresh take on this panel layout, I drew a pencil line vertically. And used this as a guide for my stamping and placements of the die cut elements.

How To Create A Masculine Card With Chocolates

  1. Score your card base in half then fold and burnish with a Bone Folder.
  2. Draw a pencil line vertically along the middle of the topper to use as a guide for stamping.
  3. Stamp the semi-circle fill design (‘lemon wedge’) along the pencil line in Sahara Sand Ink. 3 times on the bottom left and 3 times on the top right.
  4. Stamp the chocolates outline in Early Espresso ink then fill stamp with Soft Suede ink.
  5. Stamp the cookie and cup in Early Espresso ink on Basic White card. Then fill with Sahara Sand ink and Crumb Cake ink.
  6. Ink up the background design from Artistically Inked set with Crumb Cake ink. Apply hints of Early Espresso ink using a Sponge Dauber. Then stamp on another scrap piece of Basic White card.
  7. Die cut the cookie, cup and ‘Chocolate’ word with the dies from Love You More Than set and Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.
  8. Tear off the sides of the Crumb Cake layer then adhere under the stamped topper on a slight angle.
  9. Add both pieces on the card front using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  10. Add the cookie die cut flat on the topper, the cup with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals and the sentiment using folded Mini Glue Dots.
  11. Stamp the sentiment on Sahara Sand card in Memento ink then snip to size.
  12. Finish the card with 3 silver Metallic Pearls.
