Hello and welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK. It’s Jay Soriano here sharing a card with cocktails from Nothing’s Better Than stamp set for the Stamp Review Crew blog hop.

Cookies, coffee, cocktails, and chocolate. Stampin’ Up! brings you all the best things in life in a single stamp set . . . because adulting is hard! Inspired by Million Sales Achiever Connie Stewart, this stamp set is also available in French and German. It coordinates with the Love You More Than Dies which I also made use on my card.

Nothing’s Better Than Cocktails!

Barry and I were meant to be cruising next month and I was looking forward to our cocktail(s) of the day. It’s always a nice refreshing surprise to wind down in the afternoon. Of course it’s been cancelled so I just had to create something with the cocktails designs in the set.

How To Create A Handmade Card with Cocktails

1. Prepare your card base, score in half then fold and burnish with a Bone Folder.
2. Adhere the 2 coloured strips (Granny Apple Green & Bermuda Bay) flat on the card front.
3. Stamp the ‘sun’ using the back of the cookie fill design in Daffodil Delight ink on the topper card. Align the bite marks towards the bottom left so you can hide this with the cocktail.
4. Stamp the cocktail outline in Memento ink on scrap piece of Basic White card.
5. Colour the cocktail with the fill designs in Bermuda Bay, Pacific Point, Granny Apple Green (2nd Generation) and Poppy Parade inks.
6. On another piece of scrap Basic White, draw long lines in Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends Combo then fade out with Color Lifter.
7. Die cut the cocktail and sentiment from Love You More Than dies set using Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.
8. Tear off one side of the Sahara Sand card and adhere slightly slanted under the left side of the topper.
9. Wrap Pool Party Sheer Ribbon on both elements and tie a knot.
10. Adhere these on the card front using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
11. Add the die cut sentiment vertically on the topper’s left edge.
12. Adhere the die cut cocktail using folded Mini Glue Dots added height.
13. Finish with the triple Rhinestone Basic Jewels on the ribbon.
