The Spot Creative Challenge #154
The Spot design team creates Stampin’ Up! inspirations for a weekly card making challenge every Tuesday. The theme this week is CASE The Designer ~ Dena Rekow! I love Dena’s use of pattern papers which I need to do more often. And I’ve added a photo below of the card that inspired me this week. Posted For You Bundle
The Posted for You Bundle includes the Posted for You Stamp Set and the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch. You can create handmade greeting cards with the delicate line-art and postage stamp-sized images. The set includes 7 stamps in total with 3 sentiments. The stamp shape created with the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch coordinates well with the images. As with any stamp & tool bundle, it will help you quickly cut out stamped images for a single project or create multiples of the same project with ease. Plus you get a saving of 10%
#simplestamping Card Idea
Pattern papers are a great way to instantly add colour to create #simplestamping cards. These quick cards are ideal for beginners or when batch making. I also did a bit of colouring to make the stamped image stand out a bit more.
How To Make A Quick #simplestamping Card With Posted For You Bundle
- Stamp the flower design on the Calypso Coral DSP then quickly colour around the image using Calypso Coral Watercolor Pencil (from Assortment 2) before punching with the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch.
- Stamp the circular design twice on the Bumblebee DSP in Calypso Coral ink then punch twice.
- Adhere the 3 punched DSP on a strip of Blackberry Bliss card (about 1″ OR 2.5cm in height) then snip both ends.
- Wrap Linen Thread and create a bow in between the left and middle punched elements.
- Adhere on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Stamp the sentiment on Just Jade card (about 9/16″ OR1.4cm in height) then snip the ends.
- Adhere on the card using Mini Glue Dots.
- Finish by adding Metallic Pearls.
