Christmas Card with Baubles using Ornamental Envelopes
Welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK, thanks for stopping by. It’s Jay Soriano here, with this month’s Creating Kindness blog hop. The theme is Embossing with a Twist and I have created a Christmas card using Ornamental Envelopes stamp set and a sentiment Perfectly Plaid.

Ornamental Envelopes by Stampin’ Up!
This stamp set coordinates with the Envelopes Dies which is great for decorating envelopes and of course can be used for card making too! The main image is a large design of hanging baubles which I have featured on my Christmas card.
Embossing With A Twist
My take on the theme is heat embossing on vellum backed by coloured card. The Vellum layer softens the subtle cardstock colours underneath even more and I love it!
As the 6 baubles design is all in one stamp, it’s easy to heat emboss on Vellum. The coordinating dies also cuts all the stamped images in one go which I did in Soft Sea Foam and Petal Pink cardstock. I also used a die to cut the Whisper White layer to show the Rococo Rose card underneath for more interest.
There is no sentiment in the set so I used the ‘Merry Christmas’ from Perfectly Plaid. Again white embossed on Vellum which I then punched with the 2″ Circle Punch.
Once all the elements were ready, constructing the Blushing Bride card was easy. Finishing with the Adhesive-Backed Snowflakes and an upside down bow.
