#GDP448 Fantastic Masking Technique

Global Design Project Challenge
The GDP design team creates Stampin’ Up! inspirations for a weekly card making challenge every Monday. It’s CASE The Designer this week and we have taken inspiration from Krista Frattin. Use the image of Krista’s card below and get creative.
For my CASE, I focussed on the sentiment, cluster of die cuts and thread ribbon as a starting point.
Masking Technique
I used the masking technique to add floral images on the surfboard and umbrella from Beach Day. These were then coloured with Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers.
The So Swirly Embossing Folder was also used to create a print via the silicone craft sheet for a lighter shade.
The sentiment comes from Saying Thanks Card Kit. Plus the galaxy of starfish were created using a floral die cut from Country Flowers! Coloured again using Stampin’ Blends then shaped to make them more star shaped.
