Welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK, thanks for stopping by. It’s Jay Soriano here with a Halloween card idea for the Global Design Project Challenge #GDP461 using Delicate Forest and other Stampin’ Up! craft supplies.
Global Design Project Challenge
The GDP design team creates Stampin’ Up! inspirations for a weekly card making challenge every Monday. Use the colours Gorgeous Grape, Lemon Lime Twist and Basic Black on a project and share it on your blog or social media
Delicate Forest Halloween Card
To create my forest, I used the following dies; Delicate Forest and Frosted Forest on Basic Black cardstock. The die cuts and black mat were then coloured in Soft Pastels Gorgeous Grape and Granny Apple Green (there’s no Lemon Lime Twist soft pastel but I thought it’s a close match).
To fix the soft pastels, I sprayed the cardstock with hairspray. The gravestone sentiment from Labelled with Love was white embossed on Basic Gray. Then finished with the gingham ribbon (coloured in Lemon Lime Twist Stampin’ Blends), white Baker’s Twine and black Pearlized Enamel Effects.
