Global Design Project Challenge
The GDP design team creates Stampin’ Up! inspirations for a weekly card making challenge every Monday. The theme this week is balloons, so add this element on your papercraft and share your project.
Adoring Hearts Hybrid Embossing Folder
It’s easy to share the love with the Adoring Hearts Hybrid Embossing Folder! This collection of hearts will help you create crafts that are perfect for anniversaries, Valentine’s Day celebrations, and any other love-filled occasions! Use the embossing folder to add some extra lovely heart details to your paper before cutting out heart-shaped gift tags and banners with the heart dies. You could even emboss your paper and use the heart frame die to create a cute centrepiece on your cards. With this hybrid embossing folder, you’ll be able to create all kinds of heart-themed paper crafts for your loved ones!
Cute Heart Balloons with Sloth Card Idea
For my card, I only made use of the Adoring Hearts Dies and cut out different sized hearts to create my balloons.
I ink blended Tahitian Tide and Lemon Lime Twist on Basic White card before die cutting. The Jungle Pals sloth, stamped in Memento was coloured with Stampin’ Blends – 200, Ivory & Bronze.
The hearts were arranged on the card front with 2 of them on Stampin’ Dimensionals as well as the cute sloth. Drawing pencil lines to connect the heart balloons to the sloth.
The photopolymer sentiment stamp from Sending Smiles was shaped to follow the curve of the banner die cut.
To add the illusion that the sloth is in the air, I stamped the bird design from Waves of Inspiration set. Then finished with Daffodil Delight Adhesive Backed Hearts.
