New Stampin’ Up! Artisan Design Team Projects ~ Inked & Tiled Bundle
Hi it’s Jay Soriano here, welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK. I am sharing my Stampin’ Up! Artisan Design Team monthly projects featuring the Inked & Tiled Bundle.
Inked & Tiled Bundle
The Inked & Tiled Bundle includes the Inked & Tiled Stamp Set and the Inked & Tiled Punch Pack. Also available in French and German.
The Inked & Tiled Bundle is all about timelessly classic beauty. While the images do not directly coordinate, the styles do! Use the Inked & Tiled Punch Pack to create a seamless background with lots of texture and dimension, then add the Inked & Tiled Stamp Set to decorate.
I created 3 projects, a tag, small square card and DL slimline card. These papercraft projects have a variety of cardmaking techniques to show creative ways you can use the punch pack and adding colours to the stamped images.
Tag with Inked & Tiled Punch
The tag shape was achieved with the star punch design on 2 corners and decorated with the other X punch design and stamped elements.
Imperial Measurements
- Pretty Peacock Base: 2-1/4″ x 4-1/8″
- Daffodil Delight for punch: 1-1/2 x 4″
- Basic White for stamping: 2-1/2″ x 4-1/2″
Metric Measurements
- Pretty Peacock Base: 5.7cm x 10.5cm
- Daffodil Delight for punch: 3.8cm x 10cm
- Basic White for stamping: 6.5cm x 11.5cm
How To Make A Gift Tag with the Inked & Tiled Bundle
- Stamp the brushstroke design in Crushed Curry ink on Daffodil Delight card then punch with the Inked & Tiled X design 3 times
- Punch top 2 corners using the Inked & Tiled star design (see placement from photo above) then score in between the punched area to create the folded tab
- Clear emboss the flower design randomly and the white emboss the sentiment on the side
- Ink the flowers on stem with 2023-2025 In Color Stampin’ Write Markers Boho Blue and Copper Clay, stamp on Basic White then fussy cut
- Punch a hole on the tab, fold and mark the tag to punch another hole on
- Cut one of the punched X design and stick under the tab
- Add the 2 punched Xs on Stampin’ Dimensionals then snip diagonally on the right side of the bottom X
- Add the fussy cut flower, inserting the stem on the snipped area to get it close to the centre of the tag
- Add 3 Pool Party Glossy Dots around the elements
- Insert Pebbled Path Ribbon through the punched hole and tie a bow with Copper Clay Jute to finish
Square Handmade Card with Punch Background and Corners
I wanted to find creative ways to use the Inked & Tiled punch pack and found that they make great corner decorations. I decided to create a 4″ x 4″ square card as the brushstroke stamp design can be used to frame the card decorations.
Handmade Slimline Card with Creative Border
For my 3rd card, I used the punch on the corners again to create an interesting border. Inspired by flower photography that looks like negative or x-ray images, I used colour on colour stamping and ink blending.
The flowers were stamped across a strip of Lemon Lime Twist then cut into three sections for this 3 panel slimline card.
