How To Make A Christmas Card with Sweet Citrus Stamp
Hello and welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK. It’s Jay Soriano with the Stamp Review Crew blog hop. The Design Team are sharing card ideas with the Sweet Citrus stamp set. Make sure you check out all the crew’s creative projects.
Sweet Citrus Stamp Set
When life gives you lemons . . . you make greeting cards with the Sweet Citrus Stamp Set! This stamp set is full of zesty image stamps and sweet sentiments to send well wishes to your favourite people. The image style and font pairing beg for bright colours and punchy contrasts. Try layering some bright yellow and orange fruit slices against bold blue or green patterned paper for a fresh summer card.
Inspired by new products from the September-December 2023 Mini Catalogue, I decided to mix stamp sets to create a slimline Christmas card.

How To Make A Christmas Classics Card with Sweet Citrus Stamp
- Stamp the pine leaves in Old Olive ink (1st & 2nd Generation) on Basic White Layer 1.
- Stamp the berries in Sweet Sorbet ink around the pine leaves.
- Wrap Copper Clay Textured Ribbon vertically then adhere to the card front.
- On another piece of Basic White card, stamp the following:
- Sweet Citrus (all 4 images) in Pumpkin Pie 2nd Generation then spread ink with Water Painters
- Half Citrus (twice) in Pumpkin Pie then spread ink with Water Painters
- Holly leaves in Shaded Spruce then spread ink and add Granny Apple Green with Water Painters
- Flowers in Pecan Pie – add a centre dot and draw lines with Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blends Combo
- Sentiment in Real Red – fussy cut with Paper Snips
- Die cut and emboss the citrus images with the Hybrid Embossing Folder. Die cut the other images with coordinating dies.
- Arrange the oranges across the card front, adding adhesive to the centre and some areas using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Add loops of gold Simply Elegant Trim on the ribbon then adhere the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Insert the holly leaves around then stamp more berries if needed.
- Add the flowers as star anise and bronze sequins as cloves to finish the Christmas card.
I hope you’re inspired with this card and mix up your stamp sets in your next project. Thanks again for stopping by. Until next time, BYEEEEE!
