Playing In The Rain ~ Cracking Good Times
Hi and welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK. It’s Jay Soriano here with the Stamping Sunday design team blog hop with the theme of Cracking Good Times. I am sharing 2 project ideas using the Playing In The Rain Bundle and other Stampin’ Up! products.
The Stamping Sunday design team are a group of independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrators around the world. We share themed card ideas and papercraft inspirations every 2nd Sunday of the month. Do make sure you check out the rest of the Design Team’s creative projects from the links at the end of this post.
Playing In The Rain Bundle
Create adorable handmade projects all year long with the Playing in the Rain Stamp Set. This set includes playful animal and nature designs that you can use as a focal point or to embellish your cards. Pair the images with the cute sentiments from this set or with your favourite greeting for more versatility! Perfect for colouring—use the colouring tool and technique of your choice to bring colour to all your projects, especially on grey days! Let your friends know that no matter the weather, you appreciate and think about them!
Playing In The Rain Card Idea with Turtle
I coloured the turtle image with Old Olive and Mango Melody Stampin’ Blends using the Rain Or Shine Specialty DSP for inspiration. To make it seasonal, I used Layering Ovals and Basic Border dies for an Easter egg look. Then decorated with other elements from the suite including the cute Loose Daisy Embellishments.
The sentiment and splatter designs comes from Irresistible Blooms Bundle.
Playing In The Rain Gift Bag
The gift bag was created from the Mini Pocket Envelope Dies by joining 2 die cuts and adding a base. I decorated the front with the same ink blending, splatter and Basic Border to mirror the card. I also did a bit of paper piecing for the rabbit’s coat using Rain or Shine DSP.
I hope you enjoyed these project ideas with the Playing In The Rain Bundle. Thanks again for stopping by. Until next time, BYEEEEE!
