Gold & Sparkly Season’s Greetings
Measurements
- Evening Evergreen cardstock – 8 ½” x 5 ½”, score and fold at 4 ¼” (21.0cm x 14.8cm, score and fold at 10.5cm)
- Scrap piece of Evening Evergreen cardstock for stamping and die-cutting – approximately 4 ¼” x 2 ½” (10.8cm x 6.35cm)
- Gold Glimmer paper – approximately 4 ¼” x 2 ½” (10.8cm x 6.35cm)
- Two pieces Basic White cardstock – 4” x 5 ¼” (14.0cm x 9.5cm)
- Scrap piece of Basic White cardstock for stamping and die-cutting – approximately ¾” x 3 ¾” (1.9cm x 9.5cm)
- Festive Foils specialty DSP – ½” x 5” (1.8cm x 13.5cm
- Festive Foils specialty DSP – 1 3/16” x 5” (2.6cm x 13.5cm)
- Lights Aglow specialty DSP – 1 15/16” x 5” (4.6cm x 13.5cm)
12 Weeks of Christmas Ideas #33 Tutorial – How To Make A Card with Christmas Lights Bundle
- Stamp the Christmas tree image from the Christmas Lights stamp set in Versamark ink on your scrap piece of Evening Evergreen cardstock. Sprinkle with gold embossing powder and use heat tool to set. Use co-ordinating die to cut out.
- Use the second Christmas tree die on your tree as well. This will cut several holes into your tree.
- Cut out a second Christmas tree shape from the gold Glimmer paper. Use glue dots to attach this to the back of your stamped Christmas tree, so that the sparkling gold shows through the holes. Between your gold glimmer paper and your gold embossing, your tree is now very sparkly!
- Attach your three pieces of specialty paper to your Basic White cardstock as follows, from left to right:
- Narrow strip of Festive Foils paper
- Lights Aglow paper
- Wider strip of Festive Foils paper
- There will be a small white border around all sides, and in between each piece.
- Attach this piece to your cardfront. Attach your Christmas tree on top.
- Use the long, narrow label from Labels Aglow dies to cut out a label from Basic White cardstock.
- Stamp “Season’s Greetings” from Brightest Glow stamp set onto your label, using Evening Evergreen ink.
- Loop some gold trim around your fingers a few times and attach to back of sentiment, using Stampin’ Seal.
- Attach sentiment to card with Dimensionals.
- Embellish with Festive Pearls.
- Add Basic White insert to inside of card.
