What do you get when you add pets to Christmas? A little bit of chaos, a little bit of cuteness, and a whole lot of fun! The cat and dog in this set are celebrating the festive season by getting into mischief. Think of the smiles they’ll bring when you stamp them on your Christmas cards! The open line-art images are made for colouring. Stamp, then colour using your favourite colouring technique for personalised pets. Finish off your cards with one of the playful sentiments and send them off to brighten someone’s festive season!

Colouring North Pole Mischief

I used Stampin’ Blends markers and Watercolor Pencils to colour the adorable images. Starting with a layer of the blends first then adding details and texture with the pencils.

As I wanted the images to be the main focus, I opted for a simple layouts for my cards with a scrap of Snowflake Specialty Vellum.

The toppers and sentiment were die cut with the Stitched Rectangle Dies but can easily be cut using a Paper Trimmer. I used the back of the Vellum design instead of the shiny iridescent effect. And for added interest, I stamped the paw print in Gray Granite then cut with the Best Label Punch.

Merry Christmas North Pole Mischief

As the 2nd image from the set is smaller, I rotated the layout for my 2nd card. To make the iridescent shine a lot more, I used the Take Your Pick Tool and traced the back of the Vellum. This embosses the front which catches the light a lot more in different directions. Also, I moved the paw print to the top and added an extra sentiment from Ringed with Nature stamp set.

Amazing as usual Jay. I love your superb colouring and the little paw tags are such a lovely touch.

Oh my goodness. Not only are the cards super cute but the coloring, wow. I love it!!
The characters come to life on these cards. Did I mention the coloring? Yeah, about that, would you be so kind to let me know what colors you used? I know it’s probably a lot, but I can’t color like that to save my life and I’d like to case these. Knowing what colors you used would help me a lot. ??
