Friendly Hello Birthday Sale-A-Bration For Stamping Sunday Blog Hop
Hi and welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK. It’s Jay Soriano here with the Stamping Sunday design team blog hop with the theme of Sale-A-Bration (SAB). I am sharing 2 Friendly Hello Birthday projects using the FREE stamp set and DSP bundle.

Friendly Hello Birthday Card & Gift
The Friendly Hello Bundle includes the Friendly Hello Stamp Set and the Friendly Hello 12″ x 12″ (30.5 x 30.5 cm) Designer Series Paper. This crafting bundle is a must-have for your collection! The papers are very pretty with floral and pattern designs with cheerful Spring colours.
Best Birthday Card with Friendly Hello
I used the floral Pool Party paper for a simple background and combined it with Petal Pink and Mint Macaron colours. The sentiment was stamped in Memento ink using the Stamparatus to make it a lot darker and bolder. The double flowers from the set was stamped in Petal Pink and quickly coloured in Pool Party Stampin’ Blends Combo before fussy cutting.
To add texture, I used a new item from the Mini Catalogue; White Frayed Ribbon. It does fray wonderfully which I did on the bottom end then tied to make tassels. Maybe next time I’ll colour the tassels too to stand out more from the pretty pattern paper?
Best Birthday Gift Sleeve
I wanted to make use of the rest of the DSP off cut (3-3/4″ x 6-7/8″) for my coordinating 3D project and came up with this gift sleeve. The finished dimension is 3-1/8″ x 3-1/8″ OR 8cm x 8cm with a tapered opening.
To match the card, I used Petal Pink card to stamp the sentiment. Again using Memento ink and the Stamparatus. I then stamped the leaves on the White Frayed Ribbon in Mint Macaron ink and tied both ends using the string I pulled to create the tassel for the card! The same flower was stamped, coloured and fussy cut as before then adhered on the ribbon belly band using Mini Glue Dots.
