My Meadow Modern Birthday Cards
Welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK, thanks for stopping by. Today I am sharing a couple of My Meadow modern birthday cards for The Spot creative challenge.
The Spot Creative Challenge
The Spot design team creates Stampin’ Up! inspiration and weekly card making challenges every Tuesday. It’s a Birthday Theme this week, so use the image below for inspiration and starting point for your project.
My Meadow Modern Birthday Cards
Barry and I created quick scenes on notecards during our YouTube Live last week with My Meadow so I decided to use the same set but with a modern twist. Here’s the first card with multi colour ‘ink drips’
If you haven’t figured out which stamp I used from My Meadow set for the faux ink drips, it is the row of trees! I used a sticky note to mask the top of the Whisper White card to be able to achieve the straight line across the card.
The top was then embossed with the Brick & Mortar 3D design then finished with white embossed sentiment created from Well Said set. Die cut with Stitched Rectangle Dies and adhered on Mini Dimensionals.
Retiring In Colors with Stamparatus Hinge Step
I created a 2nd card using the same retiring 2018-2020 In Colors Assortment Classic Stampin’ Pads with the Stamparatus Hinge Step technique. These bright and cheery In Colors will be retiring beginning of June, so get yours soon and don’t forget the refills.
Using the Stamparatus stamping tool made this card quick and easy to do. I used the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder this time and I also did a bit of masking for the Memento faux ink drips under the sentiment.
