More Of You ~ Detailed Bands with Free As A Bird
Thanks for stopping by. It’s Jay here with my Design Team card inspiration for Paper Craft Crew’s new challenge using Free As A Bird stamp set.
Paper Craft Crew Challenge #PCC363
It’s another card sketch this week at Paper Craft Crew and you can use the image below as a starting point for your project. This challenge will be running for 2 WEEKS, so hopefully you will have time to play along during the Christmas period.
I changed the orientation of my card but pretty much kept the rest of the elements as per the sketch.
More of Detailed Bands
The ornate Detailed Bands Dies are beautiful for your belly bands and coordinates with Band Together stamp set. You can create toppers with the die cuts as well by snipping off the bands on either side which I have done for my card.
The edges of the Pretty Peacock cardstock were sponged tone on tone before adding onto the cardbase. I stamped the sentiment from Free As A Bird in Terracotta Tile before using the oval die from Detailed Bands set.
In between the layers is a 1″ circle and a strip of Christmastime Is Here Specialty Designer Series Paper. I also added loops of Mossy Meadow Linen Thread to follow the sketch.
The bird was stamped in Pretty Peacock and coloured in Crumb Cake Combo, Poppy Parade Combo and Old Olive Stampin Blends Markers. I finished the card by using petal off cuts of the Gold Glimmer from the die cut.
