Stamp Review Crew ~ Stitched All Around
Hi and thanks for stopping by. It’s Jay here with a couple of projects using the Stitched All Around stamp set.
Welcome to the Stamp Review Crew blog hop! It’s been ages since I’ve hopped with these talented designers and I can’t wait to see their creations. We are a group of Stampin’ Up! independent demonstrators sharing project ideas with one particular stamp set every 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month.
You are currently at Mitosu Crafts with me Jay Soriano. If you’re following the hop already, you would have arrived here from Kitty Stamp by the fabulous Betty Traciak. Make sure you continue along the hop by clicking the ‘Next Blog’ button at the end of this blog post to see all the crew’s project ideas.
Stitched All Around Stamp & Stitched Labels Dies Treat Holder
Barry & I went for a little craft retreat visiting our friend Sue Hookins in Hailsham during my birthday week along with our crafty friends Hilary Wright and Sara Sayers. I decided to create a treat holder for their table gifts with the Stitched All Around stamp and co-ordinating Stitched Labels Dies.
It’s a simple treat holder which can be altered to fit small treats for craft fairs, classes or parties! The treat inside is a twin mini caramel & biscuit which measures 4.8cm x 8cm x 1.3cm or 1-7/8″ x 3-1/8″ x 1/2″
Treat Holder Measurements
- Metric Mesurements
- Early Espresso Card: 8cm x 13.5cm
- Score at 1.5cm & 6.5cm, turn 90˚
- Score at 5cm & 6.5cm, then at 11.5cm only down to the 1st score line and from the 2nd score line to the card bottom
- Imperial Mesurements
- Early Espresso Card: 3-1/4″ x 5-3/8″
- Score at 5/8″ & 2-5/8″, turn 90˚
- Score at 2″ & 2-5/8″, then at 4-1/8″ only down to the 1st score line and from the 2nd score line to the card bottom
I created another version of this type of treat holder on our Youtube live (1st September 2019), decorating the front with the NEW Still Scenes Stamp & Snow Globe Dies. You can catch the reply HERE
Stitched All Around Stamp with Frosted Frames Dies Card
I decided to create a coordinating card using the treat holder for the colour inspiration as well as incorporating the NEW Frosted Frames Dies from the Feels Like Frost Suite.
It’s simple stamping and using the die cuts to add interest around the sentiment. You can watch a quick video demonstration below of how to create this simple card with the Stitched All Around & Frosted Frames
That’s it from me today. What do you think of these projects? Don’t forget to come back and order any Stampin’ Up! products online from Mitosu Crafts or from your local Stamp Review Crew Design Team.
Thanks again for stopping by. Until next time, BYEEEEE!
